2) World Association Of Young Scientists

The World Academy of Young Scientists (WAYS) was officially launched at the World Science Forum, Budapest, in November 2003, and is being established under the aegis of UNESCO as a non-for-profit organization.
WAYS is dedicated to providing an environment for young researchers - principally between 15 and 40 years of age - to carry out quality scientific research and actively participate in science policy and decision-making. In WAYS, the major objectives are to make science more attractive for the young, and more comprehensible and accessible to everyone. The organization encourages the career development of young researchers, facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration among scientists of all generations and from all parts of the world, and influences science policy worldwide.
The network is intended to provide a continuous voice to sensitize scientific institutions and decision-makers to the necessity of creating opportunities for young researchers in Science and Technology, and actively involving them in their shaping. WAYS nourishes a global community of new scientists by fostering trans-, inter- and multidisciplinary as well as intergenerational partnership and networking. These collaborations increase the exchange of up-to-date information, prepare youth for scientific careers, and promote dialogue between the scientific community and society.
